Celebrating our Musical Talents
Last week some of our talented musicians celebrated their skills by performing at our Instrumental Music Concert.
2022 Children's University Graduation
This week, twenty-three of our students graduated from Children's University in the prestigious Bonython Hall, at Adelaide University. This graduation was a recognition for all their hard work and dedication to learning outside of school this year. Well done to all the graduates!
2022 SALA Exhibition
Our school's SALA exhibition was enjoyed by many this week.
Vinnies Winter Appeal
Students enjoyed a hot chocolate in their PJs, whilst also supporting the great work of the St Vicent de Paul Society.
Book Buddies
Each year our dedicated Year 6 class undertake training to become Book Buddies to our younger students as part of their Leadership development. It is a delight to see the patience and understanding they show when supporting their buddies with developing reading strategies.
Performance Choir
Our Performance Choir were invited to perform at the Walkerville Council Volunteer Awards celebration at the Walkerville Town Hall.
The Very Hungry Catterpillars
This week we weclomed five new friends to St Monica's. Currently they are very hungry catterpillars who are eating the milkweed we planted. We look forward to watching them grow! If you have any milkweek could you please let us know as we are in dire need of this to feed our VERY hungry catterpillars.
Clean Up Australia Day
Students and Staff participated in Clean Up Australia Day by walking to the Torrens River Linier Park Trail and picking up rubbish.
